I would like to say again that I found being taught by Espe a real joy. Apart from her obvious expertise (her technique is to die for) she is warm, supportive and funny, her class was well-structured, her corrections were spot-on and the pacing of the class was excellent. I liked her choreography and choices of music, too. I am an ex-dancer and have done enough classes in my life to know pure gold when I see it! The others in the class were also very friendly and worked very hard, there was a great atmosphere in the studio and the whole experience was excellent.

...I just really wanted to say thank you for giving us the opportunity to dance and learn and have fun at the same time. I have really enjoyed your classes so much and I mean it when I say it's been the best part of my week. Sometimes when I've had a bad week, I come to your class and feel much better. As you know, I love doing ballet, and you've really made me love it even more by being such a good teacher and by broadening our understanding of so many aspects of dancing.

“Esperanza Carmona, the company’s Spanish dance teacher, opened the programme with traditional music from Aragon...,– all executed with consummate skill, timing and sense of rhythm”.
English Character Dance Company - July 1998 - The Stage
“One could not be fail to be bowled over by Esperanza Carmona as the wicked fairy, Carabosse. Her characterization was spellbinding and it was a delight to see her again later in the wedding scene as the glamorous Princess Florine. Here, she radiated charisma and technical brilliance, perfectly partnered with the wonderfully agile Ryuta Konno as the BlueBird”.
